Sunday School

The adult class will begin with a 6-week session entitled “How To Do Church, According to Paul,” and will focus on themes from 1 Corinthians.

Elementary Challenge

Our youth group for elementary students and their entire families meets the third Sunday of each month. We eat meals together, share in a Bible activity and do a fun activity or service project. In the coming months we will have a video conference with our missionary in Haiti, hike in the woods and more.

Moving Ahead

Taking steps to better serve God, our church family, and our community:

  • The Session has hired a new Interim Pastor, Rev. Dr. Lois Aroian. Learn more about her on the Leadership page.
  • On Sunday, Nov. 3, NLCC called a new Solo Pastor, the Rev. Dr. Sam Sungsoo Jun, who will begin serving in January, 2020. He earned his Master’s in Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey, and his Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. He most recently served as Associate Pastor at Pines Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas, where he focused on Youth and Family, Congregational Care, and Mission. Prior to that he was a Lilly Resident in Pastoral Ministry at the First Presbyterian Church in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
